1963 Lincoln Cent Machine Doubled Bust?

bust has doubling from bottom of date to top of neck, lip area, and small line at very top of nose. I'm guessing this is what's called Machine Doubling? The I can't seem to get a better pic to upload due to size. I could try a remote host if a better pic is needed.

I believe you're correct with Machine Doubling.

Yep, it's MD, and doubling of the bust like this is common for that time period.

I agree with the above. Pretty cool one to...I keep them eventhough most people would say its just worth a penny.

Thanks, I think I'm getting the difference in the doubling types as I now see what they mean by 'stepped image'.

It is Machine Doubling. Flat shelf like. Here is an image of the big DDO that affected the bust:

There are doubled ears/doubled eyelids, but the bust's profile is not usually affected except for the machine doubled examples.

Machine Doubling on the bust of '60's LMC's are very common.
