At least MS-65 possibly 66 great eye appeal

I do think a MS-66 is possible but I will go with MS-65.

nicer than my ms64 1898-O so I'm going to say either ms65 or 66?

I'm guessing 64 due to the light marks on the obverse....the cheek, neck and light marks around 8 o'clock are all prime focal areas, so that might hold it back, but if they are really light then 65 is the minimum. Reverse looks abt perfect. It's a very sharp coin.

Just now won this at auction for $94 which is below MS64 price. According to consensus I should be able to get an upgrade to MS65. Thanks for the grading opinions everyone!

SGS grades everything at DMPL70 lol....

I think with it being in the old green holder at MS64 you should be able to knock it up to MS65 making it worth about $160-170 street value. I paid $162 for mine off ebay not too long ago. Might be slightly higher now? NGC price on mine says $237.50 in MS65

I bought one of each in 63 64 and 65 to get a better idea of how to grade these higher morgans
