The question was more in line with whether these are from the same die. Probably not.
A number of different coining dies from that era broke in about the same place leaving a bunch of coins behind with "extra metal" between the letters of LIBERTY. That you have two coins which seem to exhibit a very similar feature definitely does not mean that they are from the same die, which would indeed constitute a 'pair'.
Secondarily to that is the fact that even finding die matched 'pairs' of BIE errors isn't all that uncommon - I might be pressed to believe there is some premium involved for having both - but not much.
