Took awhile to amass these beautys but they look better in hand than in the scans. Lots of Cameo Proofs and Cameo Silver Proofs.
Still have to finish a little of 2010 and 2011 but it has been fun so
far trying to find the best possible for the album.

Enjoy

Nice set! That 09 silver proof really stands out.

I'm almost there also. Two empty holes on page one left to fill (second and third row of course) and a few late dates.

Sweet, I'm working on the same set, MS and higher. 64 left to go. I'm sure you will beat me to the finish.

Awesome set. Actually all of the sets you just posted are awesome. And I have always had a question about this set. Didn't they make proofs for roosevelts starting in 1950? Why does the album start proofs in 1968?

Good question, I have several proof Roosevelt dimes that date back to 1956 (two cameo's), I am not certain why they didn't put them in the Dansco album as well.

Thanks for posting pics of your collection. It's interesting to see what others are collecting. I have all the clad Rosies and am working on my silver Rosies now.

Can I send you a 2010-D, 2010-P and a 2011-D fresh from bank rolls to go in your album?

That's a beautiful set. Must have taken you a long time to hunt some of that down.

All the circ/proof albums never include the coins pre 1968. For dimes it wouldn't be super tough to get em together, but still costly. Imagine having to find and pay for a 1936 quarter or cent for those circ/proof collections.

With coins dated 1964 and older, in this case I think I am talking about 1936 - 1964, because I am not sure about older classic coins. Philadelphia made a business strike and a proof type coin, Dansco does not provide a slot for both. Same as with the Satin finish coins, they provide a slot for P and D coins, the collector decides which coin to fill it with.

With the Lincoln cents (8100) album, you will see spaces for "S" mint coins, starting in 1968 when the San Francisco mint opened back up. Some of those years there were both S mint proof and business coins, but one slot.
Even 1970 there are two S mint spots, small and large date. But Dansco does not say which Lincoln to place in the slot, proof or business strike.

I think it would be safe to say that Dansco provides one slot for each mint, when that mint made coins for any given year, and the collector decides what coin to fill the space. The exception would be silver and clad coins, those years have a slot for both.

Thank you for your wonderful offer. My son has already retrieved said coins above (I am not to know about it) and is going to give them to me on my Birthday.
