I've tried doing a "Post all your Half Cents" type thread and it rapidly gets chaotic, many people don't get a chance to post, there's too much to appreciate at one sitting and the thread's over too fast. So I have evolved the Coin Posting into a much more spread-out "Days of..." thread so folks can focus on a particular year each day versus over-loading everyone in a short period of time.
I agree, the Days Of threads flow at a very manageable pace.

My vote is for ' Two Cents' because I know a certain member will "bring the pain" on that one.

A good option would be a '2/3/20' thread for the Dansco 6108/6109 album lovers.

The 7070 thread will be hard to beat
I'm with BLUEZONE; I agree the variety would keep viewers interested.

I thinking (after much soul-searching and ponderous rumination):

We should start with:

"9 Days of 2 Cents"

followed by:

"35 Days of 3 Cents"

then:

"3 Days of 20 Cents"

There would be a intricate posting chart (required to be memorized by all participants), clustering not-so-common years and mint marks on some days and letting some more common/larger minting years go by themselves.

Interested?

Could we do a couple of threads at the same time, or do yall want to save them for later?

For the 2, 3 and 20 cent denominations, it might make sense to have them all overlapping in a single thread, due to the rarity and/or unpopularity of certain dates/series.

The idea of "9 Days of 2 Cents" is good. We should have Half Cents, Large Cents, 2 Cents, 3 Cents, Half Dimes, & 20 Cents

I think one at a time. We do not want to get the 'CSI/Law & Order' syndrome.

I understand, but the Lincoln Cents are covered in the MODERN US Coin section.

Ah, I see... the poll was only a guise to pretend the rest of us had a say? Looked like the majority here voted for Mercury dimes. Oh well.

It wouldn't do to do two Adolph Weinman coins in a row. Mercs are coming soon I'm sure.
