We should have Half Cents, Large Cents, 2 Cents, 3 Cents, Half Dimes, & 20 Cents

Where were you a year ago when I started the Capped Bust half dollar "Halftober"? Your idea makes way too much sense!

But unfortunately, some of these coins have been done during the last year. We did Half Cents & Large Cents during the Old Copper thread. The Seated Liberty half dimes were included during the Seated coinage thread.

I think the next logical (Ha! AS IF!) step is the 2 cent, 3 cent, 20 cent quick-step!

I also think one thread at a time is also a good idea. One at a time gives everyone time to get their albums from storage/SDBs, acquire any last-minute upgrades they want and get pictures taken prior to the thread start.

Good suggestions, though! (I just know from experience, one thread at a time is plenty. I have NO idea how JBuck does the Guess The Price thread as well as he does!)

Ah, I see... the poll was only a guise to pretend the rest of us had a say? Looked like the majority here voted for Mercury dimes. Oh well.

Nope. No guise. No guile. I was seeking ideas. And I got them.

Please rest assured, all the US Classic Coins will eventually be covered in a "Days of..." thread.

So, don't sell all your Mercury Dimes just because we're not posting them yet!

I understand, but the Lincoln Cents are covered in the MODERN US Coin section.
whats wrong with that?
Moe is creating a new thread for the Classic US coins forum.

Now, if you want to start a '103 Days of Lincoln Cents' in the Modern US coins forum, you can!

Well, it is one thread/season at a time, so, I have that going for me.

I could not imagine running multiple simultaneous versions of GTP.

I will say, the biggest help is all of the volunteer coins!

Moe, as soon as you decide on what's next, please let us know so we can get our coins from the bank or safe to take pictures.

EDIT - what I was thinking about "Half Cents, Large Cents, 2 Cents, 3 Cents, Half Dimes, & 20 Cents" was one thread but have the "half cents, large cents, 2 cents, etc" in sequence, not all at the same time
