The interesting thing is I lost the much lower value/smaller ones he had...seems people weren't afraid of bidding those up nearly as much.

It is apparent that those coins that used to be a not so popular collectors item are growing in popularity more and more lately.

Do you plan on keeping the sets together or just cherry picking out some and reselling the rest individually?

Looks really nice, I zoomed in and none have carbon spots that I can see. It does appear that whomever put together that nickel set was fussy and picked nice examples from rolls as stated.
The 39 D looks great. I sure wouldn't mind being the winner of that set. The dimes, I don't follow much but they look great as well. I'd say you did pretty good. There might be some real gems in there.

I plan on cherry picking them; I am really hoping that the better dates in the nickel set turn out to be very high grade, as that could make a real difference. On the roosevelts, I still think I got a good deal, but if silver bounces back it could add another $100 to the value or something.

What are you planning on doing with display holders? Replace the ones you pull out and sell the set?

If enough of the coins are worth >$10, I may just sell most of it separately.

If you decide to break them up and sell them then let me know. I'm looking for a nickel for my 7070. Like the 1950 d, or 1938 s or something like that.

Got these today...looking good but tough to grade some of these jeffersons due to strike. Most sure do look uncirculated which should be more than enough. Roosevelts are outstanding.
