The price for PF69 (Silvertowne) and PF70 (MMC) are creeping up again.

I regret I didn't buy more. I believe the price of "First Strike" and "Earlier Release" will go up again after Mint release the final mintage, which I believe it will go down. we can see the quality is not as good as 2011 set, after more returns and cancellations, the mintage may lower than 2006. Plus the potential silver price going up in the future.

Yesterday's 39 NGC 70's at Silvertowne are toast....
MCM, who had a BUNCH of NGC 70's with different labels is down to 9 total sets (and at $309)

I also received my last chance offer From MCM limit 1 per at $440.
Looks like I am going to have to send my 6 sets in to PCGS prior to the 8/25 Deadline for First Strike

I also agree with bryt that knowing what we know now about the percentages these could get a bump again. I think in terms of mintage though this and the 06 are basically a push. I wouldn't be surprised of it got below it with the fair number of returns but then again there could be more of those than we realize.
I wonder if some bigger orders may get canceled from websites since I can't imagine a 30 perfect 70 rate was all that profitable at first. Then again they could just raise the price. Just thinking out loud lol

How do you guys think about the max price could go? I'm thinking the price for the whole set (PF70) could go over $550 in one month, after these sets sold out everywhere.

The $229/239 sets are hitting ebay now...the $289 sets to follow. "Normal" collectors will soon be getting their submissions back and more will hit the market. It will be a while before they all play out. This is the normal early price bump that will be followed by a modest glut that will be followed by a nice glide upward.... Remember there are only 583 PCGS PF 70 sets graded so far....that's miniscule considering how many are accounted for already

583 is way below where I would have guessed at this point granted not all the orders have shipped but a third of the total was ordered the first day

...that's out of 1766 submissions. No clue how UTD the numbers are but they are valid for the sample submitted...
Don't know if the reason is because the quality sucks or PCGS is playing the "perceived value" card again and limiting the number of 70's handed out...
After seeing the coins myself I would vote for "quality sucks" on this one

I will repeat:
This PF is the 2nd lowest regular proof EVER....and that is assuming the full 100k of the C & C set is sold
2nd lowest .........EVER (did I say that already?)
Add that coin to the RP which is a crowd favorite and....
We'll see.....

There are two ASE PR coins this year,W and now a S..mint mark. How many people knew they would have a two coin set. Many of my coin club members didn't even know the two coins were coming out... How many coin house's MCM, ST, will get there next batch after the FS and Er cut off, which will make FS,ER totals less...driving the prices higher for the PR70 FS,ER sets.
