All of them are OK, but the animals - are the best! The Coloured Maple leafs coin will look better without "the hand".
In overall the pictures make me to want one more set, but what for? The coins are nice and will be nicely displayed in the set that I will own, but the duplicates I will buy as a singles.

I decided to just order one subscription instead of two. I will buy singles for the ones I like

I bought a few NCLT from the mint this year, mainly the 20 for 20 coins. I am considering this subscription, but beyond a nice collection for display, is there any value to them? Does anyone know the total mintage?

I don't think it'll do we'll on the aftermarket if that's what mean by value.

Having a difficult time deciding whether to buy this collection. $500 into a subscription, or $500 into coins shows and back filling other sides of my collection. This isn't a unique issue lol

Well, I think there are a few coins may have a secondary market: Polar bear, Wolf, Caribou, and the color Maple leaf.

Do you guys think this set has any potential?
40k mintage, 1/2oz silver, no "real" theme.
I really wouldn't want this for my collection, kind of looks similar to the what they did with those orca/bison/I believe the other one was a beaver coins, and those can typically be found at a discount at most places. But the slightest place where I see this providing any resale value is the box? From the looks of it, just about any subscription with a box/display will give you a return as long as you sell the box.

I have my doubt though. I originally want the subscription for the box and the price is not bad for 1/2 oz silver (in term of numis coins). But, that's 12 coins collection is $40 * 12 = $480 so about $500. Do you see your self buying the whole collection for that price? I am still on the fence on this one.

I purchased the set more for a conversation piece for my office than anything else. Since it comes with a display case and I'm not having to pay shipping, it seems worthwhile.
Since I now live in the southern U.S., it is a good way to highlight a cross-section of Canada.

For $40 a month with a free box you can not go wrong. The only one that I don't like is the orca and summer life.

CC-Ottawa> Did you receive any shipping notification or status change or did it just show up?
