Sold another box of copper cents for double face. The guy is starting to be a regular customer. Says he uses them to make a penny table and glues them down. CP

So far, sold 4 boxes all together. Almost made $100 profit that I can use to buy some cheap silver. Silver 1 oz maples perhaps.

My nickel dollars and halves are starting to move too. But, I get about triple face value for the dollars and quadruple for the halves. It was great getting them from the banks over the months but I got to admit I started to get worried when I started to accumulated over $600 face value.

Coin picker - do people buy the Canadian nickel nickels? The pre1982 ones? I had heard they were worth 25 cents each at one point

Hi Wolfman, the CDN fifty cent pieces that I find at the banks date from 1968-2002. All circulating issues and nothing from mint sets. CP

Hi Coincbass! I also save the nickel nIckes but yet to find any takers for $200 for $100 face value box. I think the cents sell because they are no longer issued, have different types of buyers, and pennies are more affordable. CP

Thanks for info coinpicker. I live in North Carolina now, so finding nickel canadian nickels is somewhat rare. My dad has bags of them though as he is in Pittsburgh - much closer to Canada.
I keep all the nickel ones I find though

After a break I picked up a box of quarters on a whim. Here are the highlights:
1970 in decent condition 2003 WP 1999 SEPTEMBER mule
I almost threw the mule back. I haven't been checking for mules too closely, just rotated dies. I had pulled this particular one because it was in markedly better condition than the rest of my '99 millenium circulation set. I withdrew the placeholder and put in my find and only when I flipped the holder around did I see that the backside didn't match. At first I thought I'd put in the wrong coin, but it's a mule! After some reading I found that these were only in sets so I imagine this one was liberated to buy hockey cards, a chocolate bar, or cigarettes. Lucky me! Are they still worth something once they show a little road wear?

Nice finds tusker. I have searched hundreds of 1992, millenium and olympic quarters and never found a mule, or a "W" anything. The last round of Loonies I did find a US Sacagawea dollar, a Presidential dollar and a .50 euro.
