I like the End of the War coin but at this time have no plans to buy any of them, I'm sticking with my plan of collecting coins from the last several years as I see opportunities to buy them at a fair value. The new RCM stuff is just too rich for me. Bullion is cheap right now so I'm back to buying the odd world coin. I got my 1st proof ASE for $51.00 can just before Christmas, that's $40.00 less than most Canadian RCM 1 ounce issues, I bought a couple of 2013 Chinese bullion coins for $27.00 each, they may not be officially proof but I can't tell the difference and the art is great. There are some great coins out there without the new coin prices. I too have hopes that the mint will change but it will take a long time if ever. They have been reporting huge profits, to them their business plan is working.

I saw a post about a surprise or something coming soon from one of our members several days ago. Has it happened, and am I in the right topic to be asking this question?

Some members here mentioned about "to stick to bullion only this year", and I am curious:
How actually bullion coins can replace the numismatic collection?
Suppose, I also buy some bullion coins, and this are 4 annually changing design. They are nice, very affordable...etc But they are only 4 (that I want), so, in order to be aligned with the silver spot - will you buy 10 SMLs, 10 ASEs, 10 Pandas? Will it be collection, or just bullion stack? And if you will decide to go for some semi-numismatic with the mintage of 1.000-2.000 - in this case you will also pay $80-$100 per oz.
And finally, you will spend the same amount of money, but buying more silver/gold.

For me personally it means buying less overall. That said, between eagles, maples, pandas kookaburras,Somalia elephants, and other world bullion, there is quite a bit out there if you want to diversify. And if you do collect older rarer dates that command a premium, they typically hold that premium longer than the mints releases from the last year or so.
I still love the mints product. They just aren't pricing coins competitively to other mints and they won't likely change anything as long as enough people are willing to pay these premiums.
Another thought is if they want to charge the prices they are asking, drop the mintage. Lower mintages would get them their quicker sellouts with a higher premium, but you would see less coins issued for $100 but then selling for $80 a year later.

When will the coins be available for me to buy if I'm not part of the Master Club?

Even with lower prices, I would suggest that you limit your purchases only to coins that you will truly enjoy as part of your collection without regard to their future value. The vast majority of RCM coins that have already had a fall in their market price are likely to continue to drop (or at least not increase unless bullion goes up significantly). I wouldn't buy with hopes of profit from short-term resale. Just MHO!

I didn't purchase anything from RCM last october or November. In keeping my silver dollar and loonie collection up to date, I got everything available except the proof & specimen set. Also picked up the "Fu".

I think it was removed by moderators because it violated their rules. I agree, it was removed. We'll have to check often his website I guess... Quote: Silveroid

I will agree with you, Arianzo. I just tried to help, but didn't understand the expression (or it's target) "When I will see the coins?"

@ Silveroid -
I'm buying bullion this year but it's sort of par for the course for me. I buy tons of NCLT but I also buy rolls of silver rounds every year and usually 3 or 4 1/10 gold rounds and 1 1/4th gold round.
so for this year, because of the incredibly low price of bullion, I'll be sticking to those for a bit.
