Possible Delamination Error. Help Please.

This 2005 Jefferson nickel has what looks to me like possible lamination error. I hope the pictures show what I'm seeing. It is evident on a large portion of the obverse. In the pictures it's visible on Jefferson's jaw line, around "In God" and just above the date. I'm a little unsure because with the naked eye I don't see any peeling and if it is delamination then the layer is extremely thin. Any help or clarification would be appreciated!

Looks more like a stain or some type of environmental damage in that area

Yeah, I was thinking possibly some kind of chemical damage or something.

It looks like some sort of environmental issue. Like a stain of some sort.

It also made the rim rusty in that area. Spendable

Drag a toothpick across boundaries like that. Even if it hasn't delaminated yet you should feel a slight displacement as the toothpick passes over the edge.
