Completed sets: Jefferson nickels Roosevelt dimes Franklin halves Kennedy halvesSacagaweas SBASilver Eagles (one shy of complete BU and proof) I'm currently working on completing my Lincoln set, only 6 holes in the albums, but one hole is the biggy! I also have partial sets of Washingtons, Mercs, Walking Liberty halves, buffalos, IHC, and of course a 7070 set. Seems like pennies are going up quickly in price so I've decided to concentrate on that set for now.

Now that I think about it and see it in so many other posts I do have my SBA coins finished, they are either in rolls or round containers though no real organization. I am getting pretty dern close to finishing my Dansco7070, I ordered 2 or 3 coins for it last week that haven't arrived yet. And thats about it

Although many say they have completed sets of some coins I doubt they really mean complete. This is a sort of complicated question when asked if complete since there are actually some differences in terminology of complete. Then naturally there is the brand, age and type of Album if your coins are in an Album. For example since I've been collecting for well over 60 years some of my Mercury dime Albums do not have a slot for the 42/41, 42D/41 or 45 Micro S. They just weren't known back then. Now I also have a few of my Liberty Head Nickel Albums with a slot for the 1913 Nickel. I haven't been able to find one even at a coin show. Wonder why? I also have several what some may say completed Liberty Head Dime Albums but not really since no 1894S and there is a slot for them. I used to think I had several sets of Buffalo nickels but then appeared the 36D 3 1/2 legged thing. Don't have even one of those. The summation is with well over 100 Whitman Albums I no longer think any are completed any more. Or is complete when you say enough is enough.

Complete: Eisenhower, Franklin, Jefferson, Kennedy, SBA, Washington. In progress: 7070 (no gold), Lincoln (five to go), Roosevelt (one ultra modern that has eluded me!) In the wings: Custom "IHC, Buffalo, Mercury" album. Contemplating: ASE, Barber Date set, Sacagawea and Presidential dollars.

Like just carl said, it depends on your definition of complete. I do have what I believe to be a complete IKE set, including all 3 types for the 1971-P, and the various Type 1/2s for the 1976 Bicentennials (8 coins total if I remember right). I am missing the two type 2s for my SBA set, but even here I am working on a set that not many others probably are. I am trying to get all the coins with Full Talons, not easy as even most of the proofs don't have FTs. My Lincoln uncirculated is missing mostly coins from 1910s and 1920s, but I keep trying to get my Lincolns without buying individual coins (although I will buy bags of them). Of course, if I want to complete this one, I will have to give in and buy the keys and probably semi-keys at some point. Working on Franklins and Kennedys and a Dansco 7070.

Completed: Jefferson nickels (1938-date) Kennedy halves (1954-date) Golden Dollars, both types (2000-date) and thats it! I've got quite a few sets that I have been working on on-and-off for a while now but now that I'm looking around, I haven't finished any off! haha always assumed I had more than that done--gotta go plug some of them holes! Right now I'm working on a Liberty Head Nickel Set in the UNC range. Its pretty tough to find nice examples with lots of detail at shows and the like. This set should keep me occupied for a long while, but I can feel some breaks in the coming months where I switch to something else for a while hehe --gary

Ok, game over as that probably cannot be topped. Being only four short of a Sheldon set is a incredibly impressive feat, I'm not worthy

i just need a 88 and the illusive 96 ( resigned to the fact that the 95-w is out of my league ) to finish my silver eagle ms-70 set. I have up to date both silver and clad proof 70 State Quarters and of course the presidential set, both ms and pf 70. I have about 150 uc morgans that I bought for short money.

OK here's my humble collection of sets: Jefferson nickels - Complete Franklin halves - Complete 7070 (No gold page) - Complete Buffalo nickels - No 1913-S Type II or three Legged 1937-D Lincoln Wheat Cents - No 1909-S VDB, 1914-D, 1922 Plain Since I cannot, for the time being, afford the missing key coins in the Buffalos and Lincoln sets, I am spending my time upgrading the older coins in the 7070 to AU (where it is affordable), and the Franklins to BU or proof with only five coins to go. I also buy Lincolns in BU when I find coins I like. Those are the sets, although I have many more coins in all denominations and types, without a goal of completing the sets of those coins (at least for now), for example several BU Morgans.

That's not a full Sheldon set. I only have 4 of the 16 1793's and only about half of the 59 1794's. I will manage a few more 94's but I've gone about as far as I can go with the Sheldons.
