Can't believe I found this. My grandpa owned this and kept it for a long time. In great condition too, XF maybe. If I'm wrong, please let me know. Thanks! P.S- if anyone can figure out a value on this coin please let me know!

I want to say 62/63. I don't see it as a VAM3A but could not find one to match it myself. Is that rust in the N and denticles? Did not find mention of that in the '87 VAMs either but did not read all of them. I see lots of mentions of date doubling, but not just a 1 by itself.

I went on VAMworld and found what I think is a match. Here's a link- http://ec2-13-58-222-16.us-east-2.c...897-P_VAM-3A Thanks!

Also, here's a couple pictures of my coin showing the die marker shown on VAMworld-

Your absolutely right! My apologies, I bet I was looking under the wrong year. That's what happens when I'm up past my bed-time. Nice coin!

Definately VAM 3A, very very nice, and from your pic's I'd say MS-63 Possibly 64.

I can't speak to the VAM attribution, but I would agree with MS 63-64. Nice coin.
