I got this back from change at a gas station I've been collecting coins for about 5 years now this is the second one that I got like this can somebody help verify what it is

To CCF! Unfortunately, it's a Environmentally Damaged coin. This was caused by Post Strike Damage ( PSD).

Agree, just environmental damage. You may even be able to rub it
to remove some of it.

Also-
Please put the denomination and year of coin in your heading
for future reference.

It's a 1969 d and it can not be rubbed off and it's thinner and lighter that's y I asked I collect for about 5 yrs never ran in to this
