Just a cheap usb microscope 0x-1600x. Do you recommend an adjustable straight up and down microscope? The one I have is adjustable, but more for angles. What do you guys use? Thank you everyone

It's got an adjustable led light but doesn't dim down that much before going dark lol. Should I buy another microscope?

The photos you posted look like photos of a monitor screen? Lights will be a challenge on most scopes. I block off all but the one at 12k and put a filter on that one. You can also just turn off the onboard lights and use a hand held LED flashlight with a filter on it. John1

Yes, I'm using an old laptop for my microscope and taking the pics with my phone. I have the flash turned off. What kind of microscope do you use?

I use a Celestron and an AmScope. It is best to post direct from your computer to CCF. John1

Note all the examples you are looking at is affected on one edge of the devices. That is where you will find Machine Doubling. On the devices depending on the location of the closest rim, the outside edge can be affected by die wear. But on a doubled die, the area affected is on the centers of the devices, not the edges showing flattened areas. Note on Variety Vista, there are no DDR's on that year and several years around it: http://www.varietyvista.com/07%20Ro...Listings.htmNote the ones with a line under them? Those are the listed years. Click on them to see what a DDR looks like on them. The post 1999 dimes has an entirely different area to look for doubled dies. So note this and save yourself a lot of time by looking in the correct areas. The single squeeze dies have the doubled dies more closer to the central area of the design:
