Opinions please. Is this considered a slanted ceiling or gouge?
Also if it is a gouge. How is a true slanted ceiling created?
Thank you all for help.

The mark ar an angle looks incuse on the bay. I'm surprised that it didn't affect the column? But the ceiling line is still there. Just a coin contact mark. PSD.

On my tablet it looked incuse. If raised, then is a die scratch.

It is raised. So it's a die scratch not a gouge.
For the slanted ceiling question. How are they created?

Coop. Sometimes some of my pictures do look incused. I delete those. You mentioned a few times things look incuse. I'm curious to why they do look like that (sometimes) and I don't do anything different.

Incuse would mean it was damage from a hit. Raised is a die issue, like a die scratch/gouge/hub doubling. That is why they could be different. Some appear one way when they aren't.
