Kiteray - just received my coins back from PCGS yesterday...........
Here are the grades I received for my 10 coins: 2011 - MS69 2011 - MS69 2011 S - MS70 2011 S - MS70 2011 W - MS69 2011 W - MS69 2011 W - PR69DC 2011 W - PR70DC 2011 P - PR69 2011 P - PR70
So I received 4 - 70s ( 3 key coins ) and the rest 6 - 69s
I purchased a 2011 - 70 this morning, so all I need now is a 2011 - W 70 to complete my perfect set. Then I will have another set that is 69 with one key coin 2011 S in there at 70

Mine came about 10:15 this morning, too. The coins, capsules and OGP were all in perfect condition. My order, 383840xx, was from about 5:33 p.m.

Nice goin Teach...good luck on the other 70's...speaking of 70's...I had bought a 2011(S), PCGS MS69, with the "Struck in SF" Bridge label, a sort of comparison coin for me to enjoy...then, I got caught up in the frenzy, and won a MS70 of the same...I don't know how PCGS does things like this, but, the new 70 is WORSE than the 69, from a quick inspection, mainly due to hit marks and scuffs, from what I see..I'm pretty shocked it got a 70..stunned, actually...I will look again, later, and really try and see what is going on here(the 69 may have an off-center rim, or, something I overlooked)...I do not want to keep the darn 70, as I expected a perfect coin...another reason to buy in hand..shrug.. calvin

Just an update re ANACS : Quote:
FWMan, I think someone might sue them if they had used only one line because if they had said "25th Anniversary Set" on the label that might not be true. By using the wording they did, they can appear to imply that the coins are from a mint set without actually saying it. ...as ANACS stated they will put a label that says "25th Anniversary SET" on open box loose coins submitted to them. This set has not sold with two listings.... ..all on one line....alert the legal staff http://www.ebay.com/itm/13061154720....m1438.l2649

I sent all three of my sets off to NGC. I was going to keep one OGP set until I read that the 5 slabs fit into the mint box. I made sure I specified "return mint packaging" as a special request on the order form. I hoping to get the sets back in 2-3 weeks, maybe a little less. I'll post how the 15 coins end up being graded. I really wanted to see the original coin set, but decided to get all the sets graded instead. Hard time convincing the wife I had to send the large box as is to NGC. I'm hoping for at least MS/PR 69 on all the coins. Anything beyond a 69 will be a nice bonus. I'll be able to update my sets in the NGC registry when the coins get back. I'll then have everything in mostly MS/PR 69 with a couple MS 70s except the 95-W proof.

looks like you can't give away ANACS graded sets, it seems none have sold that have been listed

Wait a while...eventually some of the ANACS coins will appear as single coins for sale. This could be a great way to pick up an extra RP or S for a good price....The other three have their meaningless label so buy them as if they are raw.

What appears to be true is disheartening, to say the least........( ANACS ):( Knowing they are as good or better than PCGS & NGC......

It seems this is ALWAYS the things go in the US. The second rate gets pushed to the forefront - no matter if its video tape formats, computer operating systems, etc.

Who would you recommend I send my 25th sets in for grading? NGC or PCGS? I always go back and forth between the two, but it seems that PCGS coin sell for more then NGC coins. Thoughts?
Thanks.

Should the sets contain a proof coin, a reverse proof coin, one business-strike coin and 2 coins with the satin finish?
Or a proof coin, a reverse proof coin, and 3 coins with the satin finish?
My set looks like it has a proof coin, a reverse proof coin, and the other 3 coins all seem to have the same satin finish.

I know it has been mentioned before but my burnished coins look less burnished than the bullion....
Probably a special strike effort for this set....
