Well if it only reprices on Wednesday this should be it. I can't see them raising the price next Wed and ending sales the next day (the 5th). I was pulling for $1790 to try and slow sales some. I will guess 51000 but I guess it depends if the big houses do some last minute orders. I bought mine on the first day and shipping is listed as 9/8. I think they need to figure out how to get the small collector in on this and not just the big places.

I'm going to agree with Omxfl and say around 45k, although a decent drop due to cancelations (bad credit cards, people who decide they don't want to pay $1640+ for a coin) wouldn't surprise me. A jump of about 1100 today but I imagine that's from people who were expecting another potential $50 increase today. I just can't see this one getting a flood of last minute orders like the ASE sets due to the price, and I have to imagine all the big players learned from the ASE sets and got their orders in on Day 1 to ensure they'd get theirs in time to be graded.

I would say the final mintage will be a tad below 50K, which will give this coin some great potential for appreciation (starting next year) - may be $2500, IF the economy hold and gold above $1500/oz + silver above $30/oz..... that's my crystal ball

Well almost 40,000 with 7 days to go. They seem to be selling about 1000 a day now. Might jump a little the last day.

If its anything like the other sets the last 2 days should pick up. Id guess itll get over 50k but fall short of 75k. Very bold prediction I know

I'll guess 48,774 no particular reason for the number, but I did win a guess how many jelly beans in the jar contest once, hit it right on the nose. Are we using the Price is Right rules? Closest with out going over

Guess what, Goldmart had about 20 ea of the PCGS PF70 available yesterday (Bison Label & Flag Label) and they are all sold out at $1999. I missed the boat again on these PCGS coins.... Anyone want to guess the next price level for these coins?
Btw, the NGC coins still available at Goldmart.

It could well be Goldmart are just withholding some stock to see what the market is doing. It's unlikely they sold 40+ $2k-each coins within a few hours unless another big fish scooped them up. But I think their initial offer of $1,889 each for a PCGS PR70 was, well, almost cheap. MCM listed straight away for $2,099 (now $2,149). APMEX haven't started selling their coins yet, but I expect them to be similar in price compared to MCM. Two things: 1. I wouldn't sell right now as prices on ebay are still fairly low (remember final value and PayPal fees eat up roughly $175 if you have a store and the coin sells for $2,250 as an example). 2. Keep an eye on the regular proof which could end up with a new low mintage because of the double offering this year (remember 2008...).

40,804 now with 6 days to go. It'll be closer to 50k than 45k by the end of it, but not much more than 50k I reckon. Regardless, it will be, baring a miracle, less than half the mintage of the Ultra High Relief Double Eagle which sold 115,178 in total, which, however sold for 'only' $1,189-$1,539 in 2009.

I wouldn't mind around 50,000. The one I'm watching is the regular proof. They show 13,600 for that. I hope it ends low. There will be guys down the road that want both 2013 coins. Might be hard to come by.

At approx $340.00 projected over spot per coin, this sure seems to be a higher than normal premium for this product. I mean other Mint products sell for usually a nice premium, However this to me seems to be very high, IMO......( I usually DO NOT buy gold )I too agree the regular proof looks like a sleeper, but that coin should be available for some time to come STILL......Just saying!!!

By pure dollar value it is, by percentage its actually a lower premium than the ASE set had. Those were being sold at over double spot. 340 for gold is 20-30 percent markup compared to the 100 plus percent they put on the special set. I do agree though 340 is kind of stiff especially if they plan on making these in the future like they did with the silver rp. 200-250 would seem more reasonable while allowing plenty of room for profit
