Nice uniface Pfennig @joseph! Mine is also from Austria, but from Steiermark. It is similar to Saurma 735.

Yep, my coin from 1530 AD is also a Hungarian Denar, although this little guy has some unfortunate edge chips.

Well, take your pick ... little chips on yours, major clipping on mine. So, we end the 1530s with a few more posts than the 1540s (3 per year vs.2.4) and a slightly different distribution of places, concentrated on Hungary (40%) and Poland/Prussia (27%). The 1530s were a bit more spread out. My crystal ball says the 1520s will be less kind

I notice there are many more people posting Hungarian Denars since the last edition.

For today, though, I'm posting a Solidus from Prussia under Polish rule (Thoron/Tibnin mint). It is dated 1529 AD and attributed as Kopicki 3077.

Great coin, @pepactonius. I needed to learn where Nordlingen is ... Turns out the town was built in an asteroid impact crater, and is one of the rare Germany towns with its medieval wall intact. Lots of small principalities around it also minting in the early 1500s (i'll have one to post for 1521). I was also intrigued by the young portrait of the Holy Roman Emperor Charles on your coin. I'm familiar with his later portraits on coins, with a full beard and receding hairline. I'd never seen a young bust (he would have been 27). Maybe the engraver had seen a painting like this one of the young Charles (painted in 1519)

Quite a chin on Charles--sorta reminds me of Leopold I... Anyway, here is a uniface Pfennig from the Austrian State of Steiermark dated 1527 AD. It is attributed as Kopicki 9081 and Saurma 736.
