For future reference, just run a sharp blade through the mylar. Works even better if they're in nickel or quarter holders.

Quote: My thanks for the memories. Quote: What a great post! - I completed my Indian set in the 60's and like Muddler's, they are still in the old Whitman folder. This has given me the inspiration to buy my first Dansco to give them a proper home. Thanks.

Good show Captain!
I collected Stamps and Comic books as a kid, and still have them in boxes so this post did bring back some memory from the past.

I had stamps too. I ended up selling most of those because I was worried about storing them and they ended up not being worth anything (it seems like stamps have done really poorly generally.) If you think humidity is bad for coins!

Very nice IHCs!
Also, I find the easiest way to remove coins from cardboard 2x2s is to poke a small sewing needle through the edge of the window and bring it all the way around the edge of the mylar window, then just pop the coin out.

Now if you had a staple puller you could have salvaged all those 2x2's and used them for future stuff. I do that with almost all of mine. Nice collection. No 1856 yet?

No spot in the Dansco; it must not exist. Maybe I need the album with proof slots?

Very nice collection thanks for sharing with us! You've got some nice IHC's by the way. I thought the dremel had a buffer on it for cleaning I just crack my slabs with a hammer.
