With this deal, I think I may be submitting my first coins. If I can only find five coins that'd be worth it...
I wish Error Verification was included in that. I have several I wouldn't mind submitting. Do they ever run specials on Error/Variety coin grading?

Do you have to be a member or anything? Is there a coin value limit?
Also if anyone has a link for this please add. I might do my first submission. Thanks

$500 coin value limit, no need to be a member. Seems like a pretty good deal, I'm getting some coins together to submit. You can pay an extra $9 per coin for error and variety verification and attribution.

Get to know ANACS. Not being exactly like the other big two is sometimes an advantage. I have never worried about their grading, and they have always given me good service. No membership dues or annual fees. http://www.anacs.com/Default.aspx  |

For the insider deal you need to set up a account. Then you will start getting
Emails on the specials.
It does not cost anything to start the account. If it is like in the past.
Start the account online, then call them to activate you email/account.
It does not say you have to call them, sort of looks like it should just
work online ... everyone I know had to call after filling out infor online.
Once your set up, they are really good to work with. I have called them
often with many questions.
Somewhere there is a thread I did showing the steps for sending in coins
to ANACS.

BTW, I do live very close to ANACS headquarters, and I am a member of the Denver Coin Club. I usually can submit coins for $5 a $7.50 each, and I don't have to pay shipping fees.

Thank you guys for the additional information.
I'll register and see which 8 coins I'll send.
Even tho they might be worth more than the 500.00 limit, maybe they will only insure them for that much?
I think I would take a chance or is that a no no?

Well, I joined up and also registered for Insider. I assume I will get an email with the special three more coins in the near future.

I think it's only for insurance purposes. You have to declare a value on the form so I guess you could put $500 on those coins.
I think the risk would be completely on you if something happened during return shipping.

The insider email for 3 extra already went out. Its not a coupon, just a code. Just write "Insider 3" in the code area at the top of the sub form. I wrote "75 + Insider 3" as 75 is the original code for the 5 deal.

Been awhile since I submitted to anacs. so I sent 6 coins off..and wouldn't you know they added the 3 additional a week later. oh well

Thanks for the info... I signed up yesterday and will be sending 8 coins in this week. I also had to call to get the "insider" signup to work. I let ANACS know some people were having trouble with this and they are going to look into it. Also, ANACS is supposed to be releasing a reminder announcement for the "Insider 3" this Tuesday.

There are rumors about ANACS and that may be why they need to keep lowering the cost for grading. PLEASE keep sending them your coins as we need to keep all four major grading services busy. Or, you can wait for the Holiday slowdown and probably get their service much cheaper. Wink!
