Quote: He lighted it up just right to really show off that which he apparently did not see himself as it wasn't listed as an RPM just a slabbed coin. Very nice cherry-picking on this one @tb!

No. If there is one there is an extra charge involved. Some only recognize certain listings.

Oddguy : Coop is right,( He did not say this ) but I will. They want you to PAY THERE FEES. I sent 3 coins I discovered and had Attribution done by MR Wiles to PCGS that are now listed I Even sent the Attribution letters from MR Wiles with the coin and they sent them back as NOT RECOGNIZED even having the >>> ATTRIBUTION letter with the coins. New DDO listings. Due to me NOT Paying there ATTRIBUTION SERVICES They sent them back in a flip and still charged me half the fees. I CALLED them and they said you did not ask for attribution. SO be carful how you send coin in.

@Daves, PCGS only recognizes certain FS coins. If you want attribution on the holder for discovery coins they must be sent to ANACS.

Grape. I just wanted them in a slab with the DDO on the slab, not new discovery listed, just a plain old slab. NOPE sent um back. when I called them the Lady said send them back in for ATT. nope not pay them again. I will send my coin in to ANACS from now on I dumped my PCGS membership. Sad thing is ANACS slabs DONT pay as much as NCG OR PCGS in a auction.

From what I understand PCGS won't put any variety designation on a slab unless it has an FS number. Letter or no letter from DD, VV, or CC- doesn't make a difference.
ANACS is the only service that I know of that will label your coins as a variety. And they will put exactly what you put in the comments section after each coin. When I submitted some discovery coins to ANACS last year, I wasn't consistent with the comments so mine have slightly different wording on each slab.

I am new to this and never sent a coin in to be in a slab. I have some very nice coins that I think should be but have no clue on how to do it.How do I get the paper work and what if for example; I think I have an rpm and comment on that to them, the coin comes back telling me there is no rpm do I lose money?

Oddguy: Most RPM'S are not worth sending in unless they are BU RED and a very clear nice STRONG listed rpm's. Yes you will be giving them you money for free/nothing. Also most of your minor error coins are the same just put them in a 2X2 and collect and trade them or sell them on ebay.
