Nice circulated collection in a Whitman folder . The 21 and 21-D are doable but the 16-D just might give you a nervous breakdown .

Congratualtions!

Would I be dating myself if I said my Whitman was all filled from circulation except the 16-D and 21-D? I still don't have the 16-d.

Maybe a tad younger than you think though. As a kid I used to go through a lot of dimes from my grandfather's laundromats He got everything but the 16-D from circulation.

That's a fun, fun set to fill, brings back lots & lots of memories. Good luck finishing up your set, and of course be cautious with those last few, lots of deadbeats peddling fakes. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for all the support! I think the 1921 and 21-D are up next... yeah I'm gonna have to be careful for the last ones. I'll be sure to keep y'all posted when I get the 1919-S in-hand!!

Nice set. However I suggest you look into an Album. Yours is a Folder and those have a habit of ruining Silver coins.

Very nice! Be careful with the 16d, I suggest leaving the hole blank and purchasing a slabbed one. A major diagnostic for a genuine 16d is that the D is somewhat tilted. If you could draw imaginary lines from the serifs of the D through the E. it should line up roughly with the center of the E or slightly higher. The genuine 21d is not tilted and lines up with the lower opening of the E. Pay close attention to the numerals 9 in the date to make sure they are open looped and the numerals 1 should be slightly concave. You should be able to find a G-4 1921 for about $40 and A G-6 1921D for about $90. I bought the pair in PCGS slabs for $100.
