Looking at the results so far. Vast majority will buy everything the mint produces in the Morgan/Peace line up. If there was a surprise it's that several people would get Peace dollars but not Morgans. I always assumed Morgan's were more popular (well no with me, I like the Peace dollar more). I hope we actually get the full set, but I'm limiting what I'm getting in 2022.

I'm in the same boat Dearborn. Playing that waiting game. It's been a month since my order went to shipping. And nothing. Pretty disheartening.

Why doesn't the Mint use a pre-ordering system? That way, the Mint can gauge demand and simply strike as many 2022 Morgan and Peace dollars as people want.

That would make too much sense.

I don't think the mint has millions of silver planchets to make the amount that the people would want. 2. that many morgans out there would heavily decrease the value of each one. 3. If they used all the silver planchets for morgans, what would happen to the ASE's

I am not sure that the mintages would be a whole lot of difference in mintage. Maybe a little higher but there would be less speculative purchases in my opinion.

Getting everything is running away as the top choice and number 2 are the cranky posters that won't buy anything.

Quote: The prices are $85 for Proof, $80 for Uncirculated If they sell the Unc for $80 that'll be the first time I've ever seen the Mint actually lower the price. Does anyone know of any other such time?
