I would rate her as a MS. The relief is clear . Tinting only makes this coin attractive.

Yea Vette background is always the same on every coin. The red background helps see the surface of the coin. Vette is one of the few I'll bid on.

AU-53/55 for me. A decent amount of rub.
Suffering from bust half fever.

I'd say AU-58, but that scratch on the cheek might be more noticeable in hand, and I'm not fond of the toning.

I'll say AU-55+, not a fan of the toning.

Mid to high AU. Difficult to get a better feel given the dark nature of the images posted. Can say little about the toning--again, a dark image problem.

Working on my grading so let me know what you think.

The facial on the obverse seems to lost some luster, has wear on hair over ear. Possible die crack on stars to the left of obverse, don't see same resemblance on reverse.
The eagle head and breast feathers are also signs of wear. Overall a nice looking coin, Au 55 to 58.

I've cherry picked a few VAMs from the Vette in the past but his selection of MS problem free Morgans seems to be dwindling lately, at least the date/mint marks I look for.

Usually I get War Nickels from him. Just recently I started looking at his Morgan's. This is one is at 31 on bidding already. With the grade it's not worth much more. I'll probably pass

Yeah, that's the other thing about Vette auctions, he has a large following of bidders that need to win whatever the cost. Best pick a price you're willing to pay and stick to it. There will always be more offerings to choose from.

AU Details Scratched. Scratches on cheek and over the eagles head. The coin appears to be a problem example as there are also some hairlines on the reverse to the right of eagle's wing. The toning may be covering an old cleaning.
