Did you check all three reference sites? Looks like DDD and light glare doubling to me. You need to filter your light source. John1  |

I'm thinking glare doubling as well. Not a DDO, sorry. In future posts, please send us a full photo of both sides as well as your closeup. Thanks.   to the CCF! |

Somebody needs to come up with the perfect coin light—no glare. I'd buy one.

I'm thinking die deterioration--enhanced via the glare. Try using diffused lighting--light source masked by tracing paper or translucent white plastic.

I appreciate your input. I'm attaching a couple of photos where I tried to remove as much direct light as possible. Unfortunately, they are of what seems to be much lower quality and sharpness since my photo equipment for the purpose is modest; however, there still appears to be quite a bit of thickness in the lettering. Thank you for taking another look.   |

Looks like very light Machine Doubling on the Liberty west side of the devices. Not showing hub doubling that I can see yet? Die chips on the top of the 'T'. Edited by coop

I've been trying to improve light diffusion. Please let me know if these pics look better/make you see more clearly as far as the origin of the doubling goes. Thanks much!   |

From these images, LIB isn't clear enough to tell.
The vertical bar of the T is slightly thicker than the cross bar, which can be a sign of doubling.
The left side of the Y and the vertical bar as well exhibit extra thickness.
So maybe, but clear images are required.
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
