It really would not be all that surprising to find that a few were saved, despite records to the contrary. I would like to see revivals of the Morgan and draped bust dollars as well.

I am adding that '64 Peace dollar to my wish list, right up there beside that 1914 quarter. I'm serious!

you tell me! which one is the rarest? I've got a 1913 barber head dime, a gold plated bicenntenial quater, a 1940 walking lib half, a 1983 Cud, a 1934 half franc, and a 1972 die clip.

My vote goes to the gold plated bicentennial quarter. There can't be too many of those floating around.

this is a rare coin to me as I just received it for the first time on Wednesday. My wife and I checked it over and waited and everything is beautiful, including my wife and coin!

This is my rarest, mintage of only 1500 for the uncirculated version and 750 for the proof. I have one of each. It is also my favourite coin.
It is a 1967 pattern dollar, designed by Andor Meszaros in a competition to design Australia's decimal coinage.
