USA: wheat and memorial cents, Jefferson nickels (just starting), State QuartersCanada: cents, nickels, dimes, commemorative quarters Great Britian: pre-decimal pennies Australia: commemorative (decimal) 50c and 20c (I've fallen behind on this one now that I've moved across the ocean). world: coins by type/country I would like to get a collection of Ikes/SBAs (getting help on the Ike's as we speak), and Roosevelt/Mercury dimes. I'm always on the lookout for world coins to swap. I just wish I could keep my list of doubles up to date.

Although I selected Australia only, I really do collect all & sundry. My main interest is Aussie coins, 2nd is USA, 3rd Canada, 4th NZ & then any coins I happen to lay my hands on. I have separate albums etc for the 4 main countries, the rest just get chucked together into a container & quite happily breed there, at least that appears to be the case. I start a new container & before I know it, it's darn near full & I need another one. I don't go out of my way for NZ ones, we just get a lot of them in change in Aust with the majority being 20¢.

My collection goals are to make a complete(as feasable) US set by date and mintmark. I am doing it one set at a time. Also I collect worldwide mint and proof sets from 1969(birth year). Trying for one of each made. might try adding patterns in there to. Also possibly a complete set of die varieties for US coinage for 1969 and maybe whatever errors I like the look of for the ultimate birth year set. That should pretty much cover the rest of my life. :)

My last 5 purchases were a 1905 Bermuda Penny, an 1827 Bust Half, a Restrike Maria Theresa Thaler, an 1865 Two Cent, and a 1912 Austrian Gold 10 Corona (also probably a restrike). Does that answer your question?

Early US coinage and US gold are my primary interests. I also like Morgans, Standing Liberty quarters, Merc dimes and colonial copper. I also still have every Wheat cent I have ever found in circulation (about 500 over 20 years). ~Jim

I have a smattering of things at the moment. Before buying my home I had to sell my collection to make the bank happy and clean up my debts, etc. Then I collected key dates and proof type coins. I had a 1909 s vdb in AU50, a 1914D in VF, a 22 Pl die 2 in VF, a 55/55 in AU55 and a 72/72 Die 1 in MS64 for Lincolns. I had a half set of Washingtons all MS60 or greated except the 32 Dm 32 S and 36 D which were in AU50-55. I had a 3 leg Buff in VF and a 1916D Merc in G4 and a 1877 Indian cent in G4. For type set proofs I had a proof Indian cent, 2 cent, 3 cent silver, Shield nickel, Buffalo nickel, Seated dime, Barber dime, Mercury dime, Seated quarter, Barber quarter, Seated Half, Barber Half and Walking Liberty half. Now I am poor (lol)and collect uncirculated and proof Roosies in an album - almost done! I also have an Ike BU and Proof album - almost done, an up to date BU State Quarters album and I am starting a Sac album. I also have the 20th Anniv. Eagle 3 piece silver set and an 1909s vdb in vf30 and a 1914D Linc in g6 That's what I have!

I've got mainly American coins, but also examples from Argentina, Great Britain, France, Germany (West Germany), Australia, Canada, Cyprus, and one oriental coin I've not been able to identify. Anything that falls my way I tend to latch onto. Beyond that, I like circulated, 18th and 19th century stuff. I apparently suffer from short-attention-span syndrome, because I can't focus on any one thing long enough to put together a set!
