Purchased this Capped Bust Half today from a local coin shop. It is graded by NGC. Any thoughts on the grade or variety would be appreciated? Thanks, Joe2007

That is an absolutely beautiful coin. XF-40+ but maybe AU?

Not sure on Overton but I'll say VF25.

I'll shoot the gap and say VF-30. Loaded with eye appeal! I can see that coin selling for EF money.

IMO, I think this just misses EF-40, so I'm going with VF-35. I think (at first glance without tons of research) this is also a O-107/R3. NICE!

NGC graded it as XF40. I'm glad I was able to purchase it.

I would have guessed VF35 for the eye appeal. It's a beautiful coin.
