Lonz - LOL! OK- I see 83 P also can be a no FG. Would someone please consult their new Cheerryy Pickers and give me a complaete list of no FG pieces? Recently I got on ebay and saw an 82P and 83P. I know the 72D, but thought it was 82D - not P that can be found with this. @agibby5 - I got two of these exact Pizza advertising halves here, close to Gettysburg, PA, where are you?

My tuesday boxes always come "first thing in the morning". Bank opens at 9am, I always go there at 9:45, it bugs me they have the brinks guys set the boxes on the back counter, visable to all. they apologized, they had to open one box, and only had 390 for me, and my other sealed box. I said no problem, they thanked me for taking the 390 like I was helping them. I asked what happend the guys drop the box, she just said no, we had to open one......hmmmmm, the rolls were sealed tight brinks rolls, kind of wierd I wonder if someone asked and they cracked my box. I thought maybe my 390 would be loaded, and they took the enders, not the case, they were skunks. My other box had a lone 65 ender. I have been considering cancelling this pick up, but I will see what happens next week.
On another note, I stopped at a different branch where I get 4 garda boxes on fridays, and ordered 4 more boxes for this week, they said they would call, not wanting to be to intrusive to set up a new pick up, I didnt ask what day they will be delivered, I got the call at 4:30 today, they are here, I was hoping for a weds/thurs pick up, so hopefully this works out. I will be grabbing these boxes in the morning.

Havin' some pretty good luck today..... found this 1971D DDO while going through some BU rolls that I got a couple weeks back! If it wasn't for that scratch on the left side this sucker is almost perfect! (the USB microscope accentuates the heck out of the flaws) check out the strong doubling in TRUST and the T!! I've found a couple before, but not this defined with the condition being BU.... anyone know the value of a high grade example? Thinking of sending to ANACS **edited to include:*** .... here is what it looks like in hand... the marks are barely visible there is also a small "dot" on the rim that looks like some metal pooled up against the reed that I noticed while putting in a 2x2 - probably the size of a ball from a ball point pen.... thoughts?

Lonz, Very nice finds there. The 83 No-FG, and the DDO, are really nice. I never found a DDO, and only found one 1972 No-FG (which I still have in a nice 2x2).

My wife brought me home a roll of halves, I have been searching Penny rolls and Nickel rolls I know a bit about those two but I don't even know where to start with halves. If someone could let me know what too look for key dates, silver dates, types, errors etc that I should keep an eye out for I would appreciate it.
Thanks, Tricky Mick

Thanks Kenscott!! Tricky... look for silver (before 1971 and after for silver proofs), s mints, 1970D, 1987's, anything after 2002 (low mintage NIFC), no FG's, DDO's/DDR's.

Lonz, I tried you ebay link in your signature and it did not work. I tried it 3 times to make sure. As to the value of a 71D DD), I am not sure, but I have found enough of them that I quit looking (I saved a roll). Now not all of them are as nice as yours, but I do have a couple of nice ones from a roll I put away in 71.

I'm exicted because I have my 2nd ever box of half dollars waiting for me after work. Anything other than skunk would make me happy.
Earle42, Can any JFK half (other than bicentennial) be a no FG? I pulled a 1977 no FG out of my first box so I know that one exists. p.s. I like the norfed coin (or I guess round). I have a couple at home along with some dollars.

@Lonz thank you I will look for those.
Can anyone tell me the significance of these dates: 70D, 87?

well 4 box extra order today yielded
box 1...(1) 40% box 2...(3) 40% boxes 3 and 4 skunk
She said every 2 weeks I can order 4, so not sure if I'm gonna do that again.
I dumped 2000 today, and got to see brinks walking out with my last 2000. I played dumb, and said, oh you have to dump them in bags, she said yes, I said you should just give me the bags, she said I wish, we still have to verify it then dump them ourseleves.....oh well, good try.
Well untill friday, good luck to all, got my usual 4 friday boxes, will report back.
