My all-time favorite is the US $20 gold double eagle of 1877-1907
though I've never owned one.

I have to say the Eisenhower dollar. It was the one that got me interested in coins when my dad brought some back from Las Vegas and gave a couple to me in 1978. I had never seen anything like them before! It took a couple of years, but by 1980 I was a bona fide collector!

The Ike was also the first set I completed. Technically, it was the Jefferson nickel first, but I did not go back and add the modern proofs to my Jefferson album until AFTER the Ike set was long done! And yes, the Jefferson is my second favourite. :)

My favs would be Mercury dimes, ASE, SBA and of course Lincolns :)

I'm still pretty new to collecting, so common stuff is what I'm after right now!

Shield nickel. A lot of different and interesting varieties for the series during it's short run (from 1866-1883).

Mainly focusing on Lincolns right now. Might be a stupid move since they seem to be rising in price slowly but surely. Oh well, I love it. I do have a Susan B collection finished without the type 2's. Guess its not finished lol.
