1945 Novelty piece. Reverse is in AU/XF condition, no idea of the year. Obverse is in XF condition. Not sure if it is hollow. The obverse is the "outer" portion, and has a clip at the top where it appears someone tried to separate the 2 sections.

10 with partially to fully unreadable dates.

2323 with readable dates plus 10 unreadable plus 1 novelty.

Things always come full circle!!
I COULD ONLY TRY TO REACH THE GOOD IN US ALL (COINDEXTER),I do not agree that it was your gain,i agree it will be your loss.! We are not kids anymore and when something like this happens we know the path to take, because when we were kids we did not know better, or we might of known, but decided to do what we wanted. Now we do know and we are kinda making up for some of the things we did as kids, when we do the right thing.Also it will be your gain if you give the coinage back, not only will you restore the trust, pride and honesty in yourself, you will get it back, someday, someway, ten-fold.
I do not want to harp on you (cd) maybe you will think about it!!BE WELL MORGANS DAD...

Sorry for the delay. I had computer problems and with work in the way, counting has been delayed. I started tonight, this time starting at the oldest and working to the newest. I hope to get through the 40's tonight. Note that this is the 2nd box of wheats. My wife did pick up another box on Saturday, but it appears to be a normal box of shrink wrapped cents :( I'll start looking through those asap and plan on getting more cents from my main bank on my day off.

I'm excited, wife grabbed $50 in nickels from a small town bank. Got 2 silver, but only 7 others older that 1960. But I love the AG!

Searched about $80 in nickel rolls. Got 1 silver and several 38-59's that I save.

I am now over 25 ounces of silver found (not including what I stored at my mother's house over a decade ago).

Also found a local bank that offers free coin counting machine service for non-customers... too bad it doesn't accept halves. But it sure makes searching easier!

and another silver nickel, 42S.

I've still never gotten a proof nickel, and it's been a long long time since either a buffalo or V.

The War Nickels were from 1942 (part of the year) to 1945.
Just look for the large mintmark on the reverse over Monticello.
Good luck searching.

Slackware;
If you don't mind my asking, what bank has a free counting machine for non customers. I assume this machine is in the lobby. I've only seen them behind the counters.
