1973 Sudan 5 Millim Spectacular Doubled Die

This doubled die has wide separation, easily visible with the naked eye. It's strange seeing Arabic script doubled.

Got it on eBay for a quite reasonable price. Comparable doubling on a US coin would have been way out of reach for me.

The final image is of a normal strike, for comparison.

Just acquired a second specimen of this very same doubled die on eBay -- 1973 Sudan 5 Millim. Virtually identical to the one pictured above. And recently there was a third one for sale, also on eBay. Makes me wonder just how rare this particular error is.
