I Think I Have A Era Penny From 1959

I think it might be worth less than 1 cent... half of it is worn away... but... that is the wonderful thing about the coiner affliction, every piece in one's collection is personally worth whatever one wishes. I would place it, your 1959 D LMC ( Lincoln Memorial cent), on the public portion of my lawn so the older than me dude with the metal detector who scours the neighborhood might discover it and be fascinated! Check to see if the thickness and the outer diameters are the same as a dime. They were know to alter coins to use in machines. Report this Post to the Staff

I have several Canadian cents the were ran over by trains that look similar, but are shaped like guitar picks (which yours does not).
