1. Augustus St.-Gaudens' Double Eagle in High Relief
2. Robert Scot's Eagle with Small Eagle Reverse with Wreath
3. James Longacre's Liberty Head Double Eagle with Type 2 Heraldic Eagle Reverse with Motto

It's changed over time but these days I favor the large gold designs.

I would have to go with my top three in the 7070...

1827 Capped Bust half dollar
1847 Seated Liberty dollar
1877-S Trade dollar

Not sure which one will be bumped when I finally fill the Seated Liberty dollar with Motto hole.

1. St. Gaudens' Double Eagle (So original huh)
2. Walking Liberty half dollar
3. Standing Liberty quarter

For me it's the fact all three display some type of dynamic composition. Why does that never happen anymore?

I'm taking this question to mean coins that I have, not coins that I'd like to have.
Based on that my three are:

1856 Flying Eagle (mine is an S-3 variety in MS-62)
1907 Augustus St. Gaudens' High Relief Double Eagle (mine is AU-50)
1793 Chain America Cent (mine is VG-10)

All time favorites (I don't own)

1864 Small Motto Proof Two Cent Piece
1794 Large Cent (specifically the S-48 Starred Reverse)
1907 MCMVII Saint Gaudens Ultra High Relief

Coins I do have - based on design:

1864 Small Motto Two Cent Piece business strike
1837 Half Dime or Dime without stars on obverse
1794 Large cent

My favorite coins I dont own (not including patterns) are
Draped Bust Dollar
Saint Gaudens double Eagle
Flowing Hair Large Cent

As for my favorite coins in my Collection
Standing Liberty quarters
Walking half dollar
Wisconsin Commem.
I've been collecting for a couple years... Favorite Coin's are Standing Liberty quarters, Working on my type set | Coffee, Corvettes, Coins & the CCF what could be better?

Speaking about classic coins, I just bought my first (and only) Saint Gaudens' Double Eagle. I'll post it when it arrives.

Barber quarter dollar (yes, I like the Barber designs)

Coins I don't own:
Everything others have listed.

My actual owned favorites non-US:
Canada George VI dollar and half dollar, for the reverse designs.

Oh boy, it for me is a tossup and equal to...
1) Morgan silver dollar,
2) Anything Seated Liberty, and
3) Indian cents

This doesn't count, but any other coins minted in the 1800's ...
