This was my most expensive purchase at our show last weekend. It cost just a few dollars more than a generic half eagle and seems like a nice example of this slightly better date. Thoughts?

I would say it looks AU, its a nice gold coin for sure.

XF/AU if TPG I'd say EF45.

edit; after another look I see more luster in the photo than before, so I'll go AU53
