Hello all, just a question to all members about pictures. Do not know if this has been asked before. I would like to know how many members that use coins as their avatar, is this a coin you'll actually own or have owed in the past. If you do not own this coin, is it your dream piece that some day you will try and purchase. I personally do not use a coin avatar because there are to many beautiful US & World coins to just use one. Thank you for you thoughts and have a nice day. Edward M.

I chose my avatar mostly because I liked the look of it. I don't own the exact coin that was used to make it but I do own two coins a half eagle and an eagle that have that reverse.

I own it. It came from a local estate sale. At the time I created the avatar, it was my oldest dated silver coin. I like how androgynous the figure appears.

Susan, our forum Mom was kind enough to fix my avatar to grant my request. I own mine ( puffing out chest ), and it is definitely one of my favorite coins. Mainly because I waited about 33 years to get it. I wasn't sure that I'd ever fork out the dough but I don't regret it. 1971 No S Proof Jefferson Nickel

Mine is a photo of the spine of my Dansco 7070 album since that was the set I was focused on when I joined CCF!

I own mine. It's a 2000 Autralian commemorative for the Sydney Olympics and fits my fish-themed collection.
