Finally imaged my upgrade coin. Moved to this from an MS-64RD. It has blazing luster, lights up the room, it's kind of frosty on the obverse.

WOW! Killer strike for this date, one of the strongest reverses I have seen.
MS65RD easy with a good shot at MS66RD.

Just curious Thad, do you airtite these, slab them?

Speechless. 67 Red. Has a chance at 68.

Please keep this in a temperature and humidity controlled darkroom.

Stunning coin.

My first look at the reverse indicated scratches to me - left of the inside of the right wheat stock and one in the middle. Right side is a die crack. Suspect the middle is too.

Going 68 RED on this....or 67+ Red. Definitely a CAC sticker front AND back.

In the most kindest, gentlest meaning...but...you suck! :)

This is a nicer coin than the MS67 that recently sold. PCGS 2560.67/15636634

MS-66+ possible MS-67 if you don't weigh the reverse too strongly. Obverse is just a monster...

I would say it's easily a 66RD. I think it would be worth submitting to PCGS. There is an enormous leap in price between a 66 and a 67.

Fantastic looking coin!

I'd say you clearly upgraded from MS63
and agree with MS66 easy, probably 67.
dunno, what do you think? (68)

It just dawned on me that you probably have a very nice Lincoln set (Upstate states the obvious)

Thanks everyone!

I've conservatively graded this coin MS-65RD.....but it's probably a 66.

Dave - It's already in an airtite with the rest of my Lincolns at the bank.

Beautiful coin. The reverse does hold it back but 66RD is a good possibility.

I'd stick with MS65, MAYBE MS66 red, and that's only if the luster is much brighter than the image depicts. Luster is very important with any coin grading above 65.
