Very nice!

Regarding the places where it says Silver, Clad, or Proof under the coins. Did you add this to the album or to the photos? It looks like you added it to the album pages; if so, it looks good!

I added it to the photos. Well, I originally added it to the album in ink, but for the photos I digitally removed the bad handwriting and replaced it with printed letters.

Gotcha.

I forgot you had posted your 7070 before, but I think the new lettering looks good! So good, that I thought Dansco had changed their pages.

Yah, well, as I said, originally I wasn't trying to match the font -- I just used the standard "Arial" font that I always use as a default.

Upon closer inspection, however, I now realize that Arial actually is the font used throughout the entire album.

In other news, I did just go ahead and purchase a better quality War Nickel off ebay for around $10, so that will be added to the album when it gets here. I'm still keeping those "modern" commemoratives, though...

As for the nickel, it actually holds a special place in my heart only because I pulled it out of circulation years ago and kept it in a box of "special" coins for many years simply because it was old. I had no idea it was silver or a " War Nickel" until I got back into collecting earlier this year, and when I heard about War Nickels I was so excited to go through my stuff and discover that I had one!

Nice set. I don't know if I'd upgrade the nickel or not. I've got a 3CN in my 7070 that came out of my Dad's collection. It's not as nice as some of the other coins in my collection but I doubt I'd ever upgrade.

wow, very very nice set
Any reason for putting the Buffalo nickel in backwards?
Just curious, I like the look of everything though, it really seems like all the coins flow really well.
I am waiting for the day when I buy this album and slowly start filling it up
Congrats a million times, it looks amazing

I had an 1857-O Seated dime in my 7070 that my grandfather had given me back around 1972 - I was probably 8 at the time. It didn't fit in well with my 7070 set though since it was probably a Fine, had a scratch and had been lightly cleaned. I debated upgrading it but ultimately put an XF 1858 in 7070. I keep the 1857-O in an airtite along with an 1825 Quarter and 1821 Dime (I like the large diameter early bust coins and wish they had slots for them in the 7070). I keep these there with my 7070 so I look at it quite a bit whenever I get it out. Makes me feel like I am still keeping my grandfather's coin in a special spot.

Yep, two of them. First of all, the album listed as a "Buffalo" nickel instead of an "Indian Head" nickel (which is an alternate name for it). Second (and more importantly), the only difference between the 1913 and later years was the ground under the buffalo and I wanted to show that part off. I did the same thing with the Shield nickels with and without the rays.

Well, the 1943 Jefferson nickel I won off ebay just came in and I have updated my photo accordingly. I paid about $10 (including shipping) and it's a really sharp looking BU example.
