For sale is a collection of old coins, consisting mostly of older pennies and older dimes. All the dimes are silver and are sure to be worth more than what I'm listing them for. I simply don't want to take the time to travel around to silver buyers to sell them. You could either sell them for collectible coins (most are in very good-to-near mint condition) or sell them for their silver content. Either way, you'll make money on this deal. I just need some quick cash so I'm letting them go. The pennies are also in very good-to-mint condition. The years of the pennies included in the collection are '41, '46D, '48, '51D, '53D, '54S, '55S (over 40 near mint), '57D, '58D, '59, '59D and '60D. The Mercury dimes include '26, '27, '35D, '35S, '36S, '40, '42D, '42, '43D, '43, '44D, '44, '44S, '45S and '45. The Roosevelt dimes include '46D, '46, '47S, '47, '48S, '50S, '51S, '52S, '52, '53S, '53D, '54D, '54S, '55D, '56, '56D, '57D, '58D, '58, '59D, '60D, '61D, '62D, '63D, '64 and '64D. The majority of these coins have been hidden away for decades and haven't seen the light of day for years. That's why they are in such great shape. All-in-all, there are over 200 coins in the collection. These would make a great gift for the coin collector in your life or, as I mentioned before, the silver content in the dimes alone will get you more money than what you buy them for now. Thanks.

That's less than half of the melt value of the dimes listed alone. I'd be scrambling to get a check written fast enough.

With halves $ quarters, you have well over 100. melt alone. I wouldn't have to think twice,
no telling what varieties may be included. Jump on it.

Show them this thread.

Hey, parents. I'm SuperDave, a Moderator here which means I'm charged with taking care of the membership, and seeing they do not fall into trouble with their numismatic efforts.

The collection offered, consisting of some 200 coins, is a steal at $35. Silver dimes are worth more than $2 each, just for their silver content. Therefore, $80 worth of silver coins are listed in the initial post, with some 160 other coins left to evaluate.

This, in my official opinion, is why they coined the term "no-brainer."

Use the Buy It Now button.

I was about to post on Craigslist that I was looking to buy some silver coins for near melt and use the angle that I am a collector, not some money market melter only to come to find out that in the last 2 days 2 other people were using the same angle (however I can only vouch for myself as the legit collector)

I have three kids and I would be driving them there in half a heart beat. This would be an awesome investment of 35 bucks.
