Scanning Craigslist and came across this ad
http://nmi.craigslist.org/clt/2769219588.html

Seems a bit much for 9 rather common dates in lower grades.

I've seen worse ads. I don't think they are trying to be absurd. I think to a non-collector, that would not seem like an outrageous price for some "old coins". However, we are knowledgeable and realize that it would be absurd to ask for that amount.

Quick glance on the list doesn't pop out any real key dates, and not much silver, even half of the cost of what the person want for is too much.

Thanks Amida, The seller said that he wasn't going to budge on the price so I guess he'll be sitting on it for a while. Maybe if silver comes back up he'll be able to sell. Or if he finds a collector with plenty of money an d no time to shop around.
