The first one was in trade for a 1910 $10 Indian PCGS MS63 plus some cash (I wanted to go for the extra gold and take advantage of the lower premium on the $20). The other two were from APMEX.

None of these were hand-picked by myself so it was whatever they decided to give me. I'm not thrilled about the rim dings on the APMEX 1908 NM and field hits, but I think I'll just take it.

I think the 1904 is decent for the grade and I'm pretty happy about that one.

All of them have nice luster.

I swear, I did not know until this thread that there was an image of the Capitol on a St Gaudens.

It amazes me that these pieces are cheaper now than they were a few years when gold was $900. It is a good time to pick up MS double eagles!

Now how about showing off some proof 3 cent nickels!

Well it's easy to not see it as it's out of the main design. As almost everyone focuses on Liberty and the rays. I'm guessing you don't have a lot of saints in your collection? (I don't any more either).

Now here's a fellow collector that I really like!

I haven't shown off any of my 3CN Proofs in quite awhile. But, I also haven't acquired any news ones recently either. Perhaps I'll put together a thread in the not too distant future here.

Also, the comment about the picture quality, Bill, is much appreciated. I thought they came out pretty nice, too.

Never noticed the Capitol building myself.

Nice ones Bruce. I sold off most of mine when gold peaked and got righteous money for them! Getting the itch to buy again as it's been a while for me as well!

Now that's what coins should look like. That reverse of the 1904 is so majestic!
