I'm going to take a picture again on a different background, some of the coloring did come out funky so I played around with them, adjusted the coloring/lighting in photoshop a bit which might have altered their true appearance.

According to the numismedia.com fair market value page if the 22 was a graded a tad better than MS65 to a MS66 as you stated it would be worth around $588

The detail on the reverse of the 22 appears too sharp. On the obverse the shape of the "R" & "Y" in liberty is questionable.
The 9 & 2 in 1921 appear to be the wrong shape for that date.
The 1899 date looks odd and the mint mark doesn't look right.
I could be wrong on all accounts these are a few things that larger and clearer photos could clear up.

Do you have a digital scale you could use to weigh them on. If genuine they all three should weigh 26.73 grams apiece.

Quote: i honestly think that 1922 removed from the key chain could be MS65+ How could you say that about a coin which plainly shows the parallel scratches which are signs of a hard brushing? Of course it looks like a 65 - the marks have been scrubbed off of it.

That would be one heck of a quality polish job being the marks are all perfectly parallel and all going in the exact same direction. So you're not considering the roller mark possibility stated a few posts ago.

Can you post more pics? The finish on the '22 doesn't look "right". In fact the coin looks circulated to me. It may have been dipped several times.
Roller marks? Not likely as they do not run across the entire coin after minting, they are usually limited to specific areas.

Not withstanding the grading, the 1922 is not just cleaned, but scrubbed. The 1921 looks like it was much better taken care of; maybe a dip in the past. The 1899o looks pretty normal, perhaps cleaned long ago and then darkened over time.

Those pics do help. The '22 is still a puzzle though!
The '21 Peace is XF Details - Improperly Cleaned and worth $80.
The Morgan looks original and XF45, worth about $40.
The '22 Peace (grading only from the pics) is polished or whizzed AU Details and worth $30.

If your estimates on these is accurate it's certainly a dissapointment. I may bring to them a local coin shoppe and see what they think regarding the cleaning/non cleaning, and the diagonal marks on the 22. Thanks for the feedback on these. Curious to see what a circulated Peace dollar looks like without clean marks cause I still don't see such marks on the 21 some still see. Also does everyone assume all coins have been cleaned at some point just because? Just wondering, because the 99 looks like it's 113 years old lol.

If that 1922 was polished, I would guess that the black spots are compound that hasn't been removed? Pretty sloppy...

Quote: Also does everyone assume all coins have been cleaned at some point just because? No, that is done on an individual basis. Your Peace dollars show clear evidence of being cleaned in the past. They have a very un-natural look to them because of this.

, Allblkdout07! Quote: i honestly think that 1922 removed from the key chain could be MS65+ There is no way that coin will get a grade any higher than xf. The lines from 10-4 look like someone took an eraser to it. the 99o is a typical nice circulated Morgan. the 21 peace is the winner. despite the chin scratch and cheek nicks, it's still a $100-150 retail coin. The others are common dates, melt value a bit over $27, retail 30-35. Don't try cleaning them, they're OK as is. If you plan on keeping them, you might want to have the 21 peace conserved for long-term storage (around $30). I see no reason to believe they all are anything but genuine. Nice stash!
