1982 P No FG Kennedy half that still has the die clash from the rays
still remaining on the obverse.
Never knew that about the No FG's until today,
Pretty Cool. I just happen to have one and found it on mine
after reading about it. Just love coin collecting, something new to learn all the time.

Can see them quite well at the bottom of Kennedy's neck

On mine they are much lighter under Kennedy's chin, But they can still
be made out pointing toward the "G" and the "O" of In God We Trust.

Here is the area where the designers initials are missing

Shot of where the "R" looks quite a bit like a Peg Leg "R" on an Eisenhower

Although some people don't think much of this missing initials coin, it is one of my favorite Kennedy halves since I remember the craze about them when they first were discovered and I was so happy back then to add one to my set.
My original set is all gone now except I have picked up a few other Kennedys since for my type set. Mainly the 40% silver and 70 D's and some of the silver proofs.
I say nice find!

Yes. I get the mint site images and photoshop them to show the position of a die pair when a clash happens. Helps to see what was going on when this happens.
