I've been trying to learn about errors and doubling but I still have a long way to go. So I'll be back to see what the experts have to say.

Hard to tell what you have. A one light source is better for coin images. Too much light is not a good thing. So retake the images with just one light source and we'll see what is there?

Try reducing the magnification, the closeness might be distorting the image.

Quote: have new toy, mircoscope with light. no other light source used. but how many lights are on your new toy? Mine has six and I had to block off five of them and put a filter on the sixth one. I do see what looks like notching but the lighting may be causing it to look that way. So if you can post better pics please do and we can give you more input. John1

But the 5th pic down from the top looks like its probably Machine Doubling and the microscope is creating and optical illusion.

I'm trying, but I'm not seeing any doubling. Maybe something minor on the 11 in the date, but that might just be some glare.

Well, I guess we'll just have to find our own, Jayman. Too bad we are not in Philly Land.

timsumrall & Jayman931: Greetings from a fellow MS "Philly Land(er)" A couple weeks back I got a "2011 D box" from bank,Posted it on ebay,no takers. Today my wife took it with her to Bogaloosa LA. Two banks rejected it out right. The third didn't access to safe to get her a box but offered her rolls from her draw. Now I have 50 rolls of 2011P.
