Peter4805 Pillar of the Community Canada 987 Posts	Posted 04/07/2012 9:11 pm This is another coin I want badly. With that being the case I'm not sure I'm looking at it objectively as far as grade. My best guess would be AU-55 to AU-58 but I might bidding more with my heart than my head. Thanks for your help. peter Report this Post to the Staff

Jaobler Pillar of the Community United States 6413 Posts	Posted 04/09/2012 12:21 pm Might go as high as AU-55 for detail but the dull surfaces and blotchy toning would likely hurt eye appeal for many buyers. Low eye appeal means low market value. I would "market grade" it at no better than AU-50. The 1908-O is a common date and is readily available in AU and MS grades. I'd hold out for a nicer example.
