The 1 and the 9 and also the mint mark have weird lines coming off of them. I tried to capture it as best I could. I know "think" this is a LDS and it appears to have some MD (although that to is interesting to me)

I don't think these are trail dies but they look like "smear" lines that only come off the South east part of the 1 and 9 and the mint mark

Die Deterioration on the date but is that an RPM I see between the MM and the 8?

The Lines you mention are die flow lines. These radiate to the rims. It is part of die wear/deteriation. Trails show on even the first die states.

No. In that late die state the thin, crisp detail you are seeing as a mintmark would not be possible. It would be all but completely gone if it were a mintmark punch. What you are seeing is an effect of the lighting and/or a stain.

yeah...I looked at it and it is not raised at all...think it is a stain...although when I first looked at it again It had my hopes up.
