Hey everyone, I have 4 coins that I'm curious about as far as a grade goes for them, none of them are mind blowing, but more information would be great. I'm not expecting top grades on any of these coins (1884-S Morgan, 1921-D Morgan, 1922-S Peace & 1926-S Peace dollars) far from it actually, just a clearer picture is all.

A little backstory on the coins, about 10 years ago my wife to be was working at a grocery store in the area and when she got to work at her checkout lane she noticed 4 large dollar coins in the tray of the register. Well doing what any sensible person would do she bought all of them for face value! So, some person 10 years ago or so, either raided their parents/grand parents coins and needed something or was hard up for something or the other possibility, they are fake and that person was unloading them. Either way for a $4 purchase of these four coins you can't really beat the price!

Here's the 1884-S

Appear to be harsly cleaned at one time.
Ungraded, or cull, cleaned, etc.

But for a buck, it's a winner for sure :)

VF but on all these coins you've posted you can't go wrong at face value!

I will say that it is around a mid VF.

Solid VF detail, with hairline scratches from cleaning, particularly on the reverse. The hairlines are partially masked by the toning. The big hit on the cheek was apparently made by hard contact with the edge of another dollar judging by the Reeding Marks visible along its lower edge.

The 1884-S is a very peculiar date in that it's extremely scarce and expensive in any mint state grade yet priced as a common date in low grade. In problem-free VF it carries virtually no premium. Your coin would be relegated to the low-cost Morgan dollar bin at my local coin shop, priced at around $30-35 retail.
