after searching craigslist I have to make a decision.
i dont buy for condition, mostly hoarding metal.

1964 kennedy 90% silver half dollars for $10 each
or

random Morgan's prob low grade for $28 each

your not allowed to say both. vote for one or the other based on which is a better value. after searching around both of these appear to be below the average going rate.

Since your not looking for condition, the halfs are a little below melt value.

The morgans are above melt.

Yep. Sounds like you only want the silver. The halves are a cheaper buy.

Halves are the better buy but may not be the better sale if silver goes up in value.

Yep for you the halves are the best deal. For me, I'd rather use the money for several good Martini's.

I'd buy the silver dollars all day. Easier to market when you want to offload. Plus they will always have higher interest then 64 halves.

I think the kennedy is a slightly better value than the morgan.

I'd say the Kennedy halves, Morgans in low grades w/problems are far too common to have any numismatic value above bullion and if they are heavily worn the might come in significantly underweight.
